Carrie froze and glared at Kyle. "We left her with one of Kevin's colleges... We thought she was safe. After thinking my fiance was dead and finding him eveyrthing sort of drains out of your mind..." Her voice trailed off as she looked at Kyle.

"Well, she's not. I can't find her anywhere around there." Kyle said "And she wouldn't run off, and stay away."

"Is there anything we can do to help?" Carrie asked as she dropped the boxes and went down and sat down next to Kyle, nearly in tears.

"I've already got a few people helping. I came back here, thinking she might have come back home, but she isn't here." Kyle said.

"Oh...Well I'm really sorry! I thought we could trust him. Do you know anything about the man?" Carrie asked as a tone of woriness took over her voice as she looked at Kyle.

"Yeah I know the guy. He got a call, had to leave." Kyle said "He thought you guys were still in the building, so he left her. But you /weren't/ there."

"I'd found Kevin! He started leaving before I figured out who he was!" Carrie insisted. "Look, we're really sorry!"

Kyle looked at the two of them, still unhappy "YOu two go have fun. Do whatever! It doesn't matter to me anymore, and you guys aren't helping anyone." He left the apartment quickly, not waiting for anything else.

Carrie looked up at Kevin and began crying, "This is why I need you! What am I supposed to do?" Carrie forced out through tears. She stood up and hugged Kevin, unsure of what to do.

Carrie nodded and picked up a few boxes. "Can you help me carry some of these to the apartment?" she asked as she headed out the door, trying to hold two up at once. She dropped them, unable to hold it all.

Carrie shut the door behind her with her foot and followed Kevin out to his apartment. ONce she was there, she stopped, waiting for Kevin to open the door. She'd need a key, that was pretty important to have.

Carrie walked into the room and dropped her box down and said, "Thank you, Kevin. I can't believe Kira just disappeared! I thought she was safe!" Carrie began crying as lay down on the couch.
