Kyle was surprised to have a cat jump on him, but petted the calico. He looked at Sara, and then at the other cats.
"Hey Pud!" The bengal yowled "What do you think of the humans? Good or not?"
Mark came in, the smell overwhelming. He started to look around himself, finding cats hiding in small places. A large, fat, black cat ran into the kitchen and onto the counter mewing and yowling. Mark followed to catch the cat if possible.

Pud looked at the bengal. "They seem nice, although..." she thought. she was probally the oldest there. Her green eyes looked at sara. "She reminds me of my old owner..." she mewed. Zoey looked at pud. "I thought so to...im miss her dearly..." she meowed. she sharpened her claws on the wood. Sara walked up to pud. Puured mewed and walked up, rubbing all over sara, smelling the other cats on her.

Kyle picked the calico up and stood. He looked at Sara "We have to get all the animals out soon." he said. Richard had finally gotten the child back to her mother. He walked up behind Kyle "Children can be so annoying sometimes." he said. Kyle, startled by Richard suddenly being there turned "What brought the up?"
"Oh some kid came up and your dog snapped at her and she wouldn't stop crying though the dog wasn't even close to biting her." Richard explained.

Sara looked at richard and picked up pud. Pud purred and licked sara's cheek with her rough tounge. Sara smiled. She looked at kyle and then richard.
Zoey meowed. "Hey! what about me?" she yowled.
Maggie, the calico, started to meow. she hated beeing picked up. she continued meowing. "Put me down." she meowed.

"How do you expect to get out of here without being picked up?" The bengal, Dusk, asked with a small snarl of irritation in his voice.

Maggy meowed in kyles face. she seriously didn't like to be picked up but she didn't struggle. Zoey yowled again. "Don't leave me!" she meowed. Sara held pud, still purring. sara looked at kyle. She looked around. a fleet of aspca truck came and went an officer came up to sara and kyle. She hadned the officer pud and he placed her in the truck. he walked back and started to get the other cats. he got to zoey and she playfully bit and scratched him. he placed her in the truck and went to the ASPCA.

Kyle carried Maggy outside to the truck. He set the cat inside in a cage. He petted the cat and then shut the cage door. He walked back inside, grabbing a couple middle aged puppies, small enough for him to carry both. He took them out to the same truck, nodding to another officer, then set the dogs in another cage in the truck. He walked back into the house and looked at Sara "It's gonna be a long day getting all these aimals out of here." he said.
Mark looked at the officers in the kitchen. The cat sat on the counter in front of them, after running into the kitchen. The she-cat sat against the back wall squeezing into a corner and staring at the humans warily.

Sara nodded in reply, grabbing a couple of cats and placed them in a truck. She walked back into the house and grabbed zoey and a cat beside her and brought them to the same truck.
Mia crawled out from under the chair and walked to kyle's car, sitting and watching the people carry the animals. she sighed and looked to see if there was any way in.

Mark reached to grab the black and white cat and the animal screeched before he could even touch her. She jumped, completely over Mark's head and landed on the ground with a thump, then jumped on the other counter across the room. Mark lunge to grab the feisty feline again, and got small white fangs biting his hand in anger and terror. Mark yelled, but did not hurt the cat. The animal let got and ran hiding under a cabinet and staring at the humans.
Dakota followed Mia. He barked and ran in a circle. "Mia. Why did we come?" he asked.
Kyle fond the two border collies (Mia's parents) and their pups. He held out a hand to the female, not seeing the male.

Gloria looked at kyle. she wimpered, not knowing it wasn't Franky. Vince walked up looking at kyle. He sniffed kyles hand and bocked up. Gloria, worried of leaving her pups, causiously walked up to kyle. she was malnurished and the strain of having so many litters made her thin. The bull terrier barked. she wanted kyle's attention. she was a pup. Sara walked around back. She looked at the animals, lots of them had pups. It was a long day, and a few hours had passed already. The ASPCA was starting to get crouded.

"It's okay." Kyle said calmly and gently "I won't hurt you." he took a treat from his pocket and held it out forthe dogs. A german shepherd barked and ran in circles, wanting the humans attention too.
Mark tried to grab the cat again, with his hand that had not been bit, but the cat ran again now into the living room, and out the door between an officer's legs as he came in. Mark followed saying a quick "hi." to the officer as he went outside. He looked around "Where could that little feline have gone?"he muttered to himself looking around the yard. No cat, at least not the one he was chasing.

Toby walked up to mark. He sniffed around and found the cat under a bush. he carefully held the cat in his moth with a firm grip. He walked up to mark and wagged his tail.
Gloria tooked the treat, and was worried to leave her pups for long, ran back to their side. they didn't look good. A shelty was heavily pregnate. The border collie pups shivered in the autumn breeze.
Sara walked up to kyle. "We need to get the pups out of the cold." she said. It realy wasn't that cold but to newborn pups it's deadly.

Kyle turned startled by Sara. He nodded and looked at all the animals befor him. He looked at the border collie "And getting the mothers away from the pups long enough to get them all in a truck isn't going to be easy."
Mark looked at the dog confused. He had never had a dog help him like that before, even in 30 years of this job. The cat squirmed and yowled as if in pain, but no pain was brought to the feline. Mark took the cat from the dog's jaws and quickly put her in a crate closing the crate door and locking it. The ct yowled and turned in circles in anger and fear. Mark patted the dog on the head and offered him a treat "Thank you."

Toby took the treat and barked. He folowed mark, just to help him out. Toby was a good dog. A cat shot acroos the yard and toby folowed, capturing it. Toby wagged his nub of a tail and brought it to mark. The cat tried to squirm and exscape but failed. One would think toby was a service dog or a police dog, but he wasnt. He lived to please a human.
Sara nodded. She looked at the shelty. She looked like she was about to givee birth. Sara had no idea what to do. The bull terrier caught a glimps at toby. "Lucky." she said.

Mark petted toby once more. He took the cat and put her in another cage. He looked around. No more cats. He watched as Richard pulled a reluctant boxer out of the house. The dog barked and whined like he was being tortured, but the catch poles caued no pain, only to Richard trying to pull the dog to the truck. When he finally did he sighed and leaned against the vehical "So many of them." he muttered. Mark nodded "Can't stop now though Richard." Mark said grabbing a catch pole and heading for the back yard.
Kyle reached forward and picked up one of the border collie pups. He looked it over. The small things all were thin and malnurished. "Poor things."
"You bet he's a lucky one!" He hasn't ever had to be stuck like us." the german shepherd agreed with the bull terrier. The young dog had alreay had many litters and was thin. She had just had her last litter taken rom her.
